Small Groups

Our desire is for everyone to experience real change in their lives as they are transformed more into the image of Jesus Christ.  We believe that one of the primary means by which we experience change is through the relationship we have with other people—people who encourage us, challenge us, love us, hold us accountable, walk with us through struggles, and generally live life with us.

We love gathering on Sunday mornings to worship together, but we know that it’s difficult to form significant relationships during that time.  That’s why we encourage everyone (kids, youth, and adults) to participate in a smaller group.

We have three types of groups:

Affinity Groups bring people together around a shared interest, like a group of women who go hiking together periodically, or men who fish together. Affinity Groups are a great way to build new relationships with others in the church or an avenue to invite people into church life.

Formation Groups are all about growing very intentionally in your relationship with God. If you have a few friends that you would like to meet with regularly to have focused discussion on your walk with God, we can provide you with resources that will help to guide the conversation, including practices you can incorporate into life to help you focus on God.

Small Groups meet during the week at various homes and some meet here at the church.  They are a comfortable environment to build relationships and grow personally. Each group is a little different, but a typical small group meets weekly for fellowship, prayer and Bible (or book) study. Some groups share a meal together as well.
